Most of us know the verses above that belongs to Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu who is one of the important names in Turkish poetry and painter, a great artist of the Republic Period. He was born in Trabzon, studied the high school in Trabzon, and then completed his painting education in Istanbul and France. Works of the painter brings Anatolian motifs to you in each corner of our hotel.
We present our gratitude to grandson Rahmi Eyüboğlu who opened the painter’s, that is the Spoonmaker’s Diamond to us, (in Turkish “Kaşıkçı Elması which is considered to be pride of the Imperial Treasury of the Ottomans) exclusive archive and shared his prints.
